and the executive arms of government and forcing all illegal and irresponsible
mining operators to better accountability.

our main objective is to promote Artisanal and Small Scale
Mining as a great employment opportunity for the youth and the people of
Ghana and Africa at large.

Why the Initiative?

Pro-Mining Initiative Ghana(PI – Ghana ), seeks to assist governments and other stakeholders in Africa to address the challenges in the Artisanal and Small Scale Mining Sector by providing cutting-edge, specific and lasting programs to bridge the gap between the Artisanal and Small Scale Mining, the environment and agricultural activities in the mining communities.

Who we are

We are a team of committed professional individuals whose vision is to see mining in Africa done and done well in a responsible and sustainable manner, build capacity, defend the environment, and promote human right and gender equality in the mining communities.

We seek to partner with professionals and major stakeholders in the small-scale mining sector to promote value, safety, develop strategies and provide constant training for sustainability and higher productivity.
